F u t u r e   S e l f

My decision to become an artist back in 2010 developed rather quickly. Before that, I would have no idea of how my future was going to look. As a kid about to graduate from high school, that was a big concern.

 

February 21st 2010 was when I decided I wanted to pursue art. It was sometime after midnight and I couldn't sleep. I ended up getting up and going to my desk. I opened one of the drawers and found an old sketch my brother did. I'm not sure why, but I decided to get out a pencil and paper and draw.

I was terrible,

but I loved to draw.

 

This short comic was based off a letter to my past self which was inspired by Allie Brosh's Hyperbole and a Half.
